On September 5, the list of enterprises shortlisted for the National Finals of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was announced, and Shenzhen Cell Valley successfully advanced to the National Finals. The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is currently the highest-level, largest-scale, most influential, and most authoritative national innovation and entrepreneurship event in China, jointly guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Cyberspace Administration of China. After fierce competition, a total of 1,494 enterprises were shortlisted for the National Finals of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, including 1,096 in the Growth Group. In the Shenzhen Division, 15 biopharmaceutical enterprises in the Growth Group were selected. Our Senior R&D Scientist Sun Rui stood out and achieved outstanding results, making Shenzhen Cell Valley the only cell and gene therapy enterprise from Shenzhen to advance to the national competition this time.

Innovation and entrepreneurship have always been an important engine driving economic and social development. As the only CRO/CDMO one-stop outsourcing service provider in China with industrial-grade retroviral vector technology (PackRV-SS and other systems), Shenzhen Cell Valley will continue to fully leverage the absolute advantages of industrial-scale retroviral vector production in reducing costs and enabling industrial manufacturing. Combining its practical experience in professional talent cultivation, it will fully integrate research breakthroughs with achievement translation—guiding talent cultivation through work practice and driving the development of the cell therapy industry through talent cultivation. It will build a talent cultivation base for cell therapy drug R&D and industrialization, address the core challenges of cell therapy commercialization—the industrial-scale manufacturing of viral vectors and the shortage of talent—shorten the cycle for domestic Chinese cell therapy drugs from new drug development to market approval, and establish a cell and gene therapy enterprise incubation base, laying a solid foundation for commercialization and continuing to contribute to the high-quality development of the cell and gene therapy industry in Shenzhen and across the country.
